This was accomplished by consulting with industry experts from around the globe and standardizing the terminology used for the signal words “Danger”, “Warning” and “Caution” which appear on safety labels that are affixed to construction equipment and agricultural machinery. The goal was to help communicate safety messages more effectively, since the operator would become used to seeing consistent signal words, in their own language, regardless of which company manufactured the machine.
